Unfortunately there is no formula for grief, feelings of shock, denial, pain ,guilt and anger are all normal when grieving for a loved one. There is no time limit, and no right or wrong way to grieve. You can after a length of time begin to start pick to yourself up again. Taking small steps day by day, speaking to someone outside of your family who is non-judgmental can be hugely beneficial in supporting you through this difficult time. Working through grief in therapy can help you to reach a point of acceptance and help you to face the world again.
